Gables

The owners of The Gables needed repair of their gorgeous stained glass windows, located on the west side of the inn. They appeared to be quite fragile when I removed them, so I added several horizontal support bars to each of them, in addition to cleaning and reputtying them. They are now restored to their original glory in this lovely 1893 building on Bethlehem's Main St. Incidentally, many years before doing this repair, I had tried to research the makers of the windows, with little success, since this was before the era of internet. Oftentimes I would pass this building, and would gaze up at the windows, never imagining that one day I would have a hand in their repair.
